An open grommet has a hole for a cable or tube to pass through, while a closed (blanking) grommet seals an unused hole. We mold both styles in custom dimensions.
Yes. We mold grommets to your exact panel hole diameter, panel thickness and cable or tube outside diameter, ensuring a snug, secure fit.
Most grommets use Shore 50A–70A — soft enough to grip and cushion the cable, firm enough to stay seated in the panel. We recommend a hardness for your hole tolerance and insertion needs.
